About Us

We are a friendly and inclusive Community Choir who love to sing together.  All the songs we sing are taught by ear and there is no need to read music or to have any previous singing experience. Anyone over 18 can join us and be sure of a very warm welcome.

Pete Linnett is our talented Musical Director.  He is a member of the Natural Voice Practitioner's Network and he is a musical workshop leader and musician in his own right and a composer and arranger for community choirs.

We sing four part harmony 'A cappella', which means we sing unaccompanied. The type of music in our repetoire includes Gospel, African songs, sacred chants, Eastern European songs and pop.

Singing gives a great sense of well being and is excellent for physical and emotional health.  It is also a great way to meet like minded people and to make new friends.

We meet term times on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm - doors open from 6.30pm.  You'll find us in the Main Hall at Huish Academy, Wincanton Road, Langport TA10 9SS and there's plenty of free parking.
